A Broadway hit first produced under the title "Gaslight,” (with two movies of the same name), Angel Street tells the story of Mr. & Mrs. Manningham, who share a lovely life on Angel Street. However, it is soon apparent that Mr. Manningham, a suavely sinister and handsome man, is slowly torturing his gentle, lovely wife into insanity under the guise of kindness. While he is out, Mrs. Manningham has an unexpected caller – the amiable, paternal Rough from Scotland Yard. Rough becomes convinced that Manningham is a maniacal criminal wanted for a murder committed fifteen years ago in this very house. The secret of the dimming gaslight and the mystery of the hidden rubies will captivate al, and the ending of this psychological thriller has been billed as one of the most brilliant suspenses in the modern theatre.

The Conejo Players production is proud to feature an original background score composed by longtime member, Cheryl Talbot.
