Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show

Parts:

Annie Oakley: 18 – 30’s (age will depend on Frank Butler’s age) Must have strong belt voice but also be able to sing mezzo-soprano. Must dance and have strong confidence on stage while also being loveable.

Frank Butler – 25 -40’s. Baritone, dashing and handsome. Must dance as well.

Buffalo Bill Cody – Baritone – 35-55. Must sing and dance and be a great MC

Dolly Tate – must play 37. Must sing and dance and be strong and pushy.

Tommy Keeler – 16-25 –Tenor. Plays Winnie Tate’s boyfriend and must sing and dance.

Winnie Tate - 16-25 Soprano or high alto - Must dance very well. Winnie is fun and has a great personality. She fights for her relationship with Tommy who is half Indian and is not approved of by her Aunt, Dolly Tate.

Charlie Davenport – General Manager of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. 35-55 and must sing and dance

Foster Wilson – Hotel Proprietor. 40-60 and must sing and dance and play chorus roles as well

Mack, the prop man- 20-40’s – Chorus member and must sing and dance

Chief Sitting Bull – 30-60 Famous Indian who backs show business. Must have powerful presence on stage

Jessie – Annie’s little sister aged 14

Nellie – Annie’s other little sister aged 12

Little Jake – Annie’s little brother aged 10

Pawnee Bill – Owns competing show to the Buffalo Bills show. Powerful Businessman. Must sing and dance.

Mrs. Sylvia Potter –Porter – Society lady must sing and dance

Mrs. Schuyler Adams – Society Lady – must sing and dance

Cowboys, Indians, Young Men, Ladies, Kings and Queens of Europe, Debutants, Socialites – must sing and dance and have fun (Cowboy/rope tricks a plus)
