The Story:

David and Barbara Kahn are successful New York art dealers. Their domestic tranquility is shattered upon the arrival of the wife's goody goody nerd of a sister, her uptight CPA husband and her Archetypal Jewish Mother. They are there to try to save their college student daughter from the horrors of living only for sex. The comic sparks really begin to fly when the mother hits it off with the elderly minimalist artist who is the art dealer's best client!

ALL ROLES ARE OPEN

List of characters:

David Kahn (30s-40s) A hard-working go-getter. Knows what's going on in the world. 1/2 of a very loving couple.

Barbara Kahn (30s-40s) Stylish, centered and trying desperately to enjoy her successful position in life.

Trudy Heyman (30s-40s) The opposite of her sister Barbara. Perpetual worrier, very sensibly dressed and unstylish.

Martin Heyman (30s-40s) Trudy's CPA husband. A man uncomfortable in his own skin, nerdy, nebbishy and nervous.

Sophie Greengrass (age 80) Barbara and Trudy's aging mother. Looks nearly decrepit in Act One, then springs to physical and romantic vibrancy in Act Two.

Maurice Koenig (age 100)An elderly renowned artist. Contented, healthy, sharp and free-wheeling for his age.
