Conejo Cowboy Festival

Once a year the Conejo Players put on their cowboy hats and
boots and celebrate the
Conejo
Valleys rich history of
Ranchos, cattle, cowboys and vaqueros, with song and verse. May 18 and 19, 2007 the Conejo Cowboy Festival will
take the Conejo stage with a great line-up of entertainers. New faces to the festival are Belinda Gail and Curley Musgrave. This multi talented duo is award winning and
favorite’s of shows around the country. Sourdough
Slim delighted the audience last year with comedy, rope tricks and great
singing and yodeling. Pat Richardson and Gary Robertson are the poets for the festival. They will share
their views of the west and cowboys of yesteryear and today. Pat and Gary are
sure to make you to leave laughing. Local resident Nancy Lee is
our Special Guest Saturday evening. She will be entertaining us with many songs
from her new album. Friday night’s
Special Guest is Michael Tcherkassy. This is Mike’s second appearance with the
festival. Last year he entertained us during the pre show, strolling the porch,
of the theatre, singing cowboy songs.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased by calling the Conejo Players box office (805) 495-3715. Single
tickets $25.00 two day pass $40.00 ($10.00 discount). Pre Show entertainment 7:00pm show 8:00pm
backstage reception immediately following the show hors d’oeuvres and coffee
provided no host bar for beer, wine and sodas.
