Have you ever wanted to see behind the scenes? Find out how the theater magic happens? Here is your chance to join us as we throw open the curtains and unlock our secrets.
Tour backstage, dressing rooms, craft shops, costume and prop lofts. Sit at the stage manager's desk, check out the tech booth, learn what it takes to put a show on the boards. Along the way, look over displays of set models, theater history, scenes from past shows and much more.
Become an actor or work as a techie in a scene workshop.
Visit display booths where you can learn about theater make-up and get your face painted. Try on costumes and get your picture taken.
Let the kids try their hand at coloring theater masks at the crafts table.
Take a peek into the future with the architect's model showing our expansion program with a larger lobby and restrooms, new wing space and rehearsal/reception hall.
Walk through the props and effects display. See how we made everything from Charlotte's web, to mummy cases. Learn how the Blithe Spirit ghosts threw books across the room and Peter Pan flew.
