Produced by Special Arrangement with MTI
  • Directed By Shawn W. Lanz
  • Produced By Courtney Potter
  • Musically Directed By Linda M. Stiegler
  • Choreographed By Arryck Adams & Tami Keaton
THE WHO'S TOMMY is being presented as a Conejo Young Adult Musical production, however, there is no age limit for potential auditioners. Please be advised, however, that the intent of this production is to open up roles to strong young performers. It is NOT, however, a children's show. There are adult themes that will be handled tactfully and professionally, but potential auditioners should know that this production is in no way associated with the Conejo Players Children's Theatre.

PREPARE TO ROCK THE CONEJO VALLEY! Pete Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph is the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever to play in a theatre! Hit songs include "Pinball Wizard," "See Me, Touch Me," “Acid Queen” and “It’s A Boy, Mrs. Walker.”

After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother's lover by his father, Tommy is traumatized into catatonia, and as the boy grows, he suffers abuse at the hands of his sadistic relatives and neighbors. As an adolescent, he’s discovered to have an uncanny knack for playing pinball, and when his mother finally breaks through his catatonia, he becomes an international pinball superstar.

This high-energy, one-of-a-kind theatrical event has an exhilarating score and is timeless in its youthful appeal.

NOTE: The original Broadway concept for THE WHO’S TOMMY varies greatly from the 1975 film version. This production will more closely resemble the Broadway concept.
